Rage!
I’m sure not everybody who visits my blog knows what happened to my parents on May 9, 2006. Here’s what happened - “kalayaancentre.net” (there’s a little mistake, it was my father who was driving the van).
It has been 2 year already since that incident, and I can say I have recovered from what happened. But of course, I still have nightmares that wake me up in tears. I don’t want to cry over it again. As I always say, tears are not enough to solve this problem. Extrajudicial killings are still rampant!!!! If all the victims would just cry over it, what good will it bring? Nothing! We should rise and join the fight.
Perhaps this song I found on youtube today will give you an idea on why there are extrajudicial killings. This is one of my favorite songs from The Jerks, one of my favorite local blues-rock bands. This song I think was written a decade ago, and apparently, the situation is still the same, or should I say … getting worst.
Here’s the song RAGE!!!!!!!!!
thanks to “emmarix” for this beautiful video.

yah, its been 2 years and life must go on… you must always be proud of your father, he died a hero, he died with glory and honor. You know his ideals and commitment to serve the people… you can never be like him but you can be what you are… To serve God and His people is always a challenge . Your father made a footprints for us to look on as our inspiration. You and I, have to make our own footprints too, wag kang mag-alala we will just be here for you ta, just be careful in all your ways. BE WISE AS A SERPENT BUT BE HUMBLE LIKE A DOVE.
